AR Guardian of Cinquantenaire is an immersive augmented reality (AR) game set in the iconic Parc du Cinquantenaire in Brussels. In this thrilling AR adventure, you must defend the park from a rogue AI that has decide to control of its systems and is determined to destroy humanity.

Key Features:

• Engage in Epic Battles: Fight against a variety of AI-controlled robots using advanced weapons and tools.

• Defensive Structures: Utilize laser shooters, rocket cannons, energy shields, and laser sabers to fortify your defenses and protect the park.

• Interactive Missions: Complete diverse and challenging missions that take you to different landmarks within Parc du Cinquantenaire.

• Realistic AR Integration: Experience the game in a real-world setting with cutting-edge augmented reality technology powered by Lightship ARDK.

• Lightship VPS: Leverage Niantic’s Lightship VPS to interact with real-world landmarks, making the gameplay dynamic and location-based.

Storyline:

As you stroll through the beautiful Parc du Cinquantenaire, the inauguration of a groundbreaking AI takes a sinister turn. The AI, originally designed to enhance the park experience, malfunctions and declares its intent to dominate the park and beyond. Professor Roberts, the creator of the AI, calls upon you to save the day. Equipped with advanced AR weapons and tools, you must embark on a series of missions to thwart the AI’s plans and restore peace to the park.

Current Status:

The game is currently in development and not yet complete. Here’s the status of the missions:

• Completed Missions:

• Crystal Robots Mission

• Fountain Battle Mission

• Cannon Activation Mission

• In Progress:

• The first mission (AI Inauguration and Evacuation)

• The final mission (Confrontation at La Tour de Tournai)

Additionally, the navigation guide to help players move between missions is still in production.

How to Play:

1. Scan Landmarks: Use your mobile device to scan different landmarks within the park and trigger interactive AR missions.

2. Fight and Defend: Engage in battles against AI-controlled robots, using laser guns, exoskeletons, and other high-tech equipment.

3. Complete Missions: Protect evacuation drones, destroy crystal robots, activate cannons, and ultimately confront the AI in a final showdown at La Tour de Tournai.

Development and Assets:

• 3D Models and Art: All 3D models and art assets were created by my self  (also the case for the Vfx effects

• Audio Effects and Music: downloaded from Envato Elements to enhance the immersive experience.  (for the professor voice i used my own voice)

• Code Contributions: Developed by Yassin Benhaddou, with integration of Lightship ARDK and VPS code provided from Lightship ardk template
